The Garden Studio so called for its easy access straight into the garden, offers the perfect chance to enjoy comfortable French living with all mod cons. With a log burner for cooler months and large glass patio doors, this is a wonderful retreat throughout the year.
The Garden Studio entered through the glass patio doors from the garden has a fully equipped fitted kitchen, and a dining area with delightful views back into the garden. An imposing archway leads into the lounge with its comfortable furniture, a log burner and a front door for easy access to the village. At the other end of this spacious room and under the original wooden beams is the sleeping area. With clever design and furniture placement, although actually one large room, this feels like 2 separate areas.
The sleeping area has a king size double bed (can be made into twin beds to suit all requirements), chest of drawers and a wardrobe for all your storage. A shower room leads off this end of the room, with a large fully tiled Italian walk in shower, WC and vanity unit.
During renovation the plans were drawn up to make this a one-bedroom apartment but when demolition work unearthed a beautiful hidden stone arch and numerous wooden beams we decided we simply couldn’t cover any of these features up with a wall and so the Garden Studio was born!
The Garden Studio and garden has free 18MB wifi and the apartment has an AC unit.
The Studio includes access to the communal garden that provides a relaxing environment for eating, drinking or simply lazing in the warm climes of the South of France. The garden contains 3 x BBQ areas, a pizza oven, Guy’s recent addition, 5 terraced areas, a grassy lawn and to top it all off a solar heated swimming pool with decked area. All of this is nestled within the original medieval stonewalls of our courtyard providing secluded privacy from the outside world. The character of the Garden Studio and throughout our medieval house will envelop you and ensure your stay is truly memorable.
The Garden Studio is on one level and is ideal for persons with limited mobility; unfortunately the bathroom door is not wide enough for a wheel chair although fits a travel commode chair.
